Music

This is the section where you will find Music, Lyrics, and Notes. Explore this section and listen to how poetry by Kaj Granholm was put to music by Lars Granholm, as well as Lars’s own compositions.

Here you can call up the Lyrics and/or the Notes, and while following them, call up and listen to the Music Kaj and I have created. Also, we invite other relatives to comment on and suggest revisions to what I have done.  Additionally, we encourage you to add your own creativity to this site to share with everyone.

Kaj’s friends, Eric and Kim Thorson, arranged and recorded four songs,  which I wrote the music  for by computer. I hope somebody else with their talent would be interested in arranging and recording some of this music in Swedish or Finnish.

Kaj seems to have another talent – poetry, and that inspired me to write some music to go with his lyrics. Note that I have no musical education, but with the help of a computer program, “Music Time Deluxe,” I have also done some compositions in addition to the four songs Kaj and I have collaborated on.
